@QuispNQuake. That's fair. The food may very well be great, and the main share owner is a really nice, down to earth, idealistic kind of guy, and I would have been thrilled to work for him. He had a great idea of how he wanted us employees to be treated; fairly and with respect. Problem is that he does not run the hour to hour operations from what I could tell. It would have been more fair of me to say that the manager Mimi (who also owns a share) is the biggest problem. She's not holding to that idea of treating employees with respect. If this restraunt fails, I have a hunch she'd be large part of the reason why (considering that she had a share in sazanni's as well) unless she changes her attitude and treats other workers better. Maybe she didn't like me for some particular reason. Who knows. But I personally wouldn't want to give money to a company that lies to workers about what they can expect. Again, just my two cents, and you may love the restaurant. If so, good for you.

There are a number of legitimate first-hand reviews, some from long time PDC'ers...you might think some are not 100% accurate, but I don't think this has evolved to nothing but gossip. @Alene is an ex-employee, I think people are smart enough to take the feedback with a grain of salt. Starting a new restaurant is tough, there are bound to be some bumps in the road, it's hard to be perfect when things are so new. I think everyone should give the benefit of the doubt for a while as they get on their feet, give the place a try and decide for yourselves.

@RambleOn : Totally agree. I was surprised this wasn't locked before the 1st page was up. Maybe in the future when this comes up, the owner of a business can make his post and then have the thread locked for no comments. Reviews can be left on the "Find a Local Business" option at the top.

@Witness thank goodness. If it weren't for her, I would still have a job. I would never want another person to subjected to the careless treatment that she gave as a manger. She never even paid me for the hours that I did work there. Maybe things will be better now.
