Alot of the reasoning for closing was because people were mad sazanis wasnt there a d took it out on sapphire.... all the gift cards people thought sapphire should take that sazanis sold they were honering all the deposits sazanis took grom customers and each group was -$200 and there were dozens of them .... By taking sazanis depts they started in a hole and it was to hard to build it back up.... Sonny that ran Sazanis first was doing great until he left .... Sapphire tried thier best bust money doesnt grow on trees ... :-( Sad story for everyone ..... If they would have just started fresh it would have been different.... RIP Sapphire you and the owners are missed ....♡
@ballz Why would Sapphire have felt responsible for honoring Sazani's prior engagements? Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have wanted to **** any longstanding customers off, but $200 each? No.
Yeaaahhh....I think after the first round of taking their gift cards a sign would have went up with Sazani's location in Pekin along with their phone number.
