Latest IDPH report lists 1,734 new cases and 51 deaths. Lowest number of deaths since May 4th. Don't get me wrong, 1 death is too many. At the same time, I'd like to see more stats of those that have recovered, especially in Chicagoland. Of the roughly 94k cases since statistics started being kept, how many recovered, and are doing fine? Depending on the county, that should determine how much business should be reopened, with the usual 50% restrictions, social distancing.

I personally know one person in Pekin who had the virus. He's been quarantined In his home for over a month with his wife and son and they are all doing fine now.

I personally know a family outside St. Louis who lost their father to this. Several other family members have fallen ill and 2 were hospitalized. They are not doing fine.

@ClaudeK : So very sorry and sad to hear this. Just sent up a prayer for that family. But, I do not apologize for the person and the family I know doing fine now. They went thru hell to get to the good status they are at now. They have a young son with some issues and there was concern about him.
