Kidding aside, built into our founding legal system is the right to free association. I would submit that must include the right to NOT associate. Where that right becomes at odds with other people's rights is the dilemma.

In due time the law will be repealed. There is no question about it. It will take some more major job losses and pressure from all the universities in NC before the reality sets in on the GOP in NC. There is a lot of European investment in cos. in NC. When it comes time for them to expand, which isnt that far away, they will go elsewhere, possibly in Europe, maybe to another state, but they will not expand in NC.

Nobody in NC will have a problem with this person following their daughter into the bathroom then:

Who is performing the genital checks at the doors to these bathrooms anyway? What if gender reassignment surgery is complete and the check reveals equipment corresponding to the gender on the door? This law is ridiculous and unenforceable so what was the point other than to rile up LGBT supporters??
