@EyeintheSky Makes you want to vote for people with a D behind their name on the ballot doesn't it?

@meanjarhead Wish they would make it easy and put an "I" so then we know they are a bloodsucker incumbent and need to go.

@EyeintheSky voting is just deciding which dog turd to eat the pug or the Bull Mastiff they are both going to leave a bad taste in your mouth but i would rather eat the small turd over the huge one.

Considering politifact has won Pulitzer Prize. ..it's the least biased reporting that I have read.

@joepyeweed :

Yeah, well if I disagree it something, I disagree with all of it's sanctioning bodies too. Pulitzer obviously has a liberal bias.

@JnJ

Trump has no choice but to take someone who has experience on the hill. He will be in so far over his head with the system it isnt even funny. Rubio stands a much better chance as VP. and might help improve Trumps standing with Hispanics. For that same reason Carson will not be on the ticket with Trump. There has never been a time in US History where a President and VP have both been political outsiders. I think Trump will be in the thick of things as far as the New York Primary in mid April. That is his home and a big state. If he wins there he wont be stopped. If he loses there that might be the start of his decline.

Now, I do think that win, lose or draw Ben Carson could be considered for some job at NIH. With all the medical research he has done he could help encourage medical research so that we dont lose the race to some other countries. Compare some treatments at the American Hospital in Paris to some places in the USA. Just saying.

However, I do not think he should be Surgeon General.

For starters the Pulitzer Prize is for Americans that have written something like fiction, various categories in journalism etc. etc. etc.

The Nobel Peace Prize is an award anyone in the world is eligible to win. It covers the entire world.

@joepyeweed Not much because of Nobel giving the prize to a guy with only 8 months on the job in 2009.

I too thought Obama's Nobel Prize was lame. The people who gave it to him should ask for it back... Obama has probably dropped more bombs than any previous U S president.

@joepyeweed : I consider these types of awards to be political in nature and self aggrandizing. Same could be said for the Grammies, Emmys, and even some of the local love fests. Some are deserving no doubt, most famous being Mother Theresa, but for the most part they are who you know or who you blew (figuratively speaking)

Speaking of Mother Teresa, there is a movie coming out very soon about her. We have seen previews of it and it seems like it should be really good. The movie is "The Letters" and stars Juliet Stevenson as Mother Teresa.

Obama received the Nobel Prize for absolutely no good reason other than unbridled partisan optimism.

@EyeintheSky Of course not. Nor should they. Let the embarrassment remain on the record.
