Back to the local, I like Dave he keeps his yard perfect. Always has a smile on his face a nice guy that will listen to you. And Gordon trying to get that bill passed to get child care going again a tough uphill battle where she took the gloves off and went at it only to get screwed by someone in her party. Great people. And they didn't screw us out of a park.

I feel bad for republicans and the USA for wanting a rude boorish *** in the white house.

@joepyeweed :

There are some very influential republicans that do not want Trump. They live in dreaded fear what will happen to their party if he is nominated. The problem is that they do not have a satisfactory pool of alternatives that could be drafted to try and stop Trump. The only one is possibly Romney who has been there and done that. He is not about to go back there and do it again. So the battle goes on and on.

He might have 41% but is a long, long way to 51% which is what he needs.

@billybob No he needs 270. is a shoe in for 191 and needs to fight it out of the 130 that is open, You don't win the Presidential Election by getting the most votes. Now back to local politics.

@meanjarhead What does keeping his yard nice have to do with being an effective leader for Peoria? He is weak and a Madigan schill. He needs to go back to being a nice guy down the street and leave the politics to someone who can get something done.

Dont forget that before that he needs to get a majority of the delegates at the republican convention. He might find it an long, rocky, uphill climb to get there from 41% now.

Even in races where someone is at 47% can be long uphill, rocky fight to get to the magic number. The problem is that there are too many in the republican field with single digits. They need to get out of the race. However, not all of their followers would turn to Trump.

It is not going to be Trump and Cruz. If the republicans need Cruz to carry Texas than they are really, seriously in over their head. If elected they would be in so far over their head it isnt even funny. In fact it would be quite serious. Cruz has many republican enemies on the hill. Trump seems to think he will be able to do as he sees fit. He doents seem to understand about courts, laws and the power of congress.

@meanjarhead if you are talking about the riverfront development deal about a month ago the vote was 8-3. you turn weaver and spain and still would lose 6-5.
