"Elvis. My parents were big Elvis fans, so heard him a lot while growing up. I only heard "modern" music (at the time--mid to late 70s) from my older brother.
Edit: I know Elvis was still singing new songs on the radio up till he died in 1977, but my parents mostly listened to older (50s-60s) hits. They also liked the songs from American Graffiti. As for what I remember listening to from my brother: Osmonds, Billy Joel, Gary Numan, etc...."
