"Had a bunch of bare spots in my front yard so I put in grass seed. Watered it and it came up well, but I've had to continue to do so since the sky isn't crying. I'm going to have to set up a GoFundMe to pay IL-AWC this month.
I haven't heard much from farmers about the lack of rain yet, but they've gotta be worried...."

"I can't have anything here. The deer, groundhogs, rabbits, squirrels, chpmunks, raccoons, and/or whatever just eat or dig things up. Usually they don't touch ultra hot peppers but something has dug this one out twice. This goes for a lot of flowers, too.
Mother is having this issue too. Her dog passed away and I think the varmints sense that. The potatoes and sweet potatoes are untouched. Its odd that they don't attack the Swiss Chard. Keeping the raccoons out of the corn will be a battle. The raspberry pl..."

"We gave up on the vegetable garden two years ago and have herbs in it now. Less rabbit and deer mowing down of it. We still do deck boxes for some hot peppers and tomatoes. Watering those every few days. Also caught that our fruit trees looked heat stressed and watered them today as well...."

Healthy plants, but no produce. I tried a large raised bed and got the same results. I filled theraised bed with lily bulbs and buy my produce down the street at Roth's stand...."
