"I thought all the doctors my wife has visited in last 6 months trying to get cured of her off balance and ear pain issues was a lot, but @RambleOn is a lot more, wow! I can only hope and pray all will go well for you, especially beating the cancer issue. I'm considering ourselves very lucky neither one of us has had to deal with cancer. Knock on wood.

I saw some corn fields in Northern Illinois that looked pretty good last weekend. I don't know if they've received more rain than us.
Just an observation. For field corn, grandpa used to say "knee high by the 4th of July". (We always had sweet corn for the fourth...different story there). Now I've seen field corn head high by then. "Since the old thread is locked due to no responses in 7 days, figured I would give an update. After the fall, I spent 3 days in the hospital and had a bunch of tests. As I was finishing up what appears to be successful treatment for lung cancer, a spot was was found on the left boob. Course of treatment yet to be determined. I now have referrals to the Orthopedist, Physical and Occupational Rehab, Cancer Institute, Illinois Lung Institute, Cardiovascular Institute, Radiation Oncologist, Surgeon at Cancer I..."
