"Peoria Heights wanting to freeload fire service from Peoria. Peoria tax payers pay full fare for a full time fire service. The Heights pays far less for a 'volunteer' service. Not surprisingly, these volunteer services need additional assistance far more often than Peoria does. I don't think it is unreasonable to expect Peoria Heights, or any other community not paying for a full time fire service, to help shoulder the costs.

I think it should be used all the time, along with opening up an ice cream shop in the old monkey house between the lagoon and the children's museum. The train was privately paid for, so we can't complain too much I suppose...."
