@JnJ :Just some evidence around that Pence was possibly caught off guard by Fiorina as VP. There is a LOT of concern that her record at HP is toxic and could be examined even more. Cruz had to do something to address that concern. Just saying.

He should have had someone from the Hulman family instead. Or Evan Bayh. The rivalry between Bob Knight and Gene Keady at Purdue is historic. Trump showed his ignorance of Indiana blatantly.

@QuispNQuake : Not much chance of that. Evan Bayh is a Democrat Regarding Bobby Knight - that's the first I've heard from anyone its a negative. In fact, most news I read is its a much bigger endorsement than "endorsement" by Pence. The other consideration is that Knight is respected universally as one of the all time great coaches. That recognition extends far beyond Indiana's borders and into the living room of every sports loving American.
