I am usually a big supporter of independently owned small businesses. I'm really disturbed by these allegations, though. That the owners have chosen not to respond to the journalists who asked for a comment says a lot.
I decided to share the Community Word article on my Facebook page, and tagged several area female friends. I'm not calling for a boycott or anything like that. But I think my female friends should be aware of these charges and make the decision for themselves.

I don't think it will get thrown out. There are certain things employers need to do when confronted with potential allegations like this. The lawsuit makes it appear as if Shermans did nothing.And the retaliation is a big no. no.
