@chef I am a follower of the Chicago Tribune on facebook. I think they do a good job of reporting the violence. They usually post a Monday morning peice that recaps the previous weeks death totals.it doesn't get much coverage in Peoria news...but it's all over Chicago media.

But if this was some deranged white guy who killed 8 and shot 20 it would be nationwide news in minutes.

It is the same with car accidents. If there are 20 accidents in Peoria it iant news but if there is a 20 car pileup on 74 it is news.

@ChefKevin Maybe you should look into another source for your news since the one you're using keeps 'missing' so many news worthy items.
