I agree that is was really stupid for the County health department to forgo the big lead abatement grant ... however that alone would not have solved the problems that we are discussing today.Lead abatement is a long term chronic problem, that needs to be addressed. Even so, it won't solve anything that is happening TODAY. Of course, lets not leave out the personal economic gain that YOU would have received had the county awarded you that contract. So you have a bit bias on that particular topic.

One would think that as a black person living in the community you might have valuable input because you are black.But if your only input is: " give my company a 10 million dollar contract for lead abatement and that will solve all the problems", then perhaps your input does not seem any more valuable than anyone elses, looking to make a personal buck on grant money.Take your personal stake in lead abatement out of the equation, do you have any other ideas that are not related to lead abatement?
