That's per classroom(Although I think Peoria Christian added window a/c units (through the walls instead of windows) to 2 buildings worth of classrooms for less than that per classroom amount

It was only a few years ago (I think 3 or 4?) so I don't know if much replacement has been needed.
I would think the install cost of adding electrical and the wall openings would cost a lot more than replacing an existing unit.

Good grief?! Increase taxes yet AGAIN? When will it stop? We moved here 9 years ago and every single time we turn around someone else wants to raise one tax or another. Where is all that money going?? Our property taxes alone have gone up $2000 in the 9 years we have lived here. We have lived in 3 other states and nowhere else are property taxes this bad. You guys pay outrageously high property taxes here ON TOP OF high sales tax AND state income tax. Again, WHERE IS ALL THAT MONEY GOING?

Yup. Time to leave Peoria County....

I watched them come in a refurbish Greeley school and then class rooms never got used.
They would have classes in one half of the school. The Officer that worked there said it was crazy new Air units, Computers just sitting not being used.
Was really crazy he donated his time to mow and clean up the property just to help out and still nothing to help these children out to educate them.New programs.

Woodruff is still open. It is used to house special programs such as cosmetology, safe school, etc. The only thing that has closed at Woodruff is the contemporary school.
Blaine Sumner has been sold. The Social Security office is used as a school. The reason for the primary/middle school split is due to space.A few years back this referendum was on the ballot, but it failed.
