My question is at what point does the press need to back off on hounding CIA or National Security officials for a story that needs to stay secret because of National Security? That's how leaks occur, because 'anonymous officials' are meeting up with press to tell them what's going on.

I do believe in transparency in government, something that the Obama administration could do a better job on; but there has to be a line drawn, when it comes to confidential data that has to do with the security of our nation. And if a government employee or a reporter for any print publication or electronic news source crosses that line, then they need to face the consequences.

The IRS (and the DoJ) has targeted all kinds of groups over the years, under various Presidents. Google "IRS and NAACP", and you'll find that the NAACP was targeted....in 2004...under President Bush for "suspicious political activity". So this is nothing new, other than another method that the GOP and right-wingers are using to distract Americans from the real issues, and the Right's own failings. Just saying.

All Right folks, here's your chance to inquire...praise...or most likely gripe....at Mayor Jim Ardis on whatever issue comes to mind. (Museum doesn't count, that's a Peoria County project, remember).

A large F5, Mile Wide tornado is bearing down near Oklahoma City, part of a series of severe storms expected across portions of the Midwest.

Television footage shows a funnel cloud touching down southwest of the city on Monday, and radar indicates it is moving toward the state's capital city.

The Oklahoma House of Representatives canceled its afternoon sessions so Capitol employees and state lawmakers could take shelter. Sirens blared and workers made their way to the Capitol basement.

Oklahoma City's southeastern suburbs were hit by a storm Sunday and two people died. Monday's storm is in an area that is more densely populated.

Monday's storm is also near where a violent twister hit May 3, 1999. That storm carried the highest winds ever recorded on earth.

That is a false statement. An IRS audit is not the same thing as being asked to provide more information to clarify an application for special tax exempt status.

No, seriously, night and day.

When does night end and day begin? Does night end when the sky stops getting darker? Or does night end when the sky becomes bright enough for one's surroundings to be visible with the naked eye? Or does night end when the sun breaks the horizon? Or does night end when the sun is totally above the horizon? Or does night end at midnight, an artificial construct created by us as a society? It's not like we don't know what "night" and "day" are. At 11pm it's clearly night; at 11am it's clearly day.

If we can't even figure out or come to consensus on (literally) everyday occurrences affecting each and every one of us, why do people think we'll ever come to an agreement on when a fetus becomes a person?

Your accusation of "treason" is emotional and anti-intellectual. Opposition is the American Way. It is something we're free to do, and it makes us a better country.

Speaker Boehner is also an elected official, and his constituents expect him to represent them. If Boehner did not, he wouldn't have been re-elected 12 times. Same can be said of Congress as a whole.

As for this:

The Obama Administration has targeted Tea Party and other conservative groups for IRS audits, but is being politically correct with potential jihadist fundraisers in this country.
