Hospital , Univ of Chicago Medical Center and Rush Presbyterian St Luke in Chicago and Barnes in St.Louis. Increasingly, people are adding Univ. of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City to that list, Especially for complex eye issues.
No doubt the salary, is better in those places, Also, there is lots of research going on at those hospitals which expands the pool of applicants.

There is some truth to this. While I have friends who work at St. Francis, I've had others quit due to their "itinerary". Other people will not go there for treatment simply because they do not agree with their philosophies.
I used to work at Hopedale Medical. They are as Red Republican as it gets, but you'd never really know it. Smart enough to keep religion and politics out of their business model. However, they have other issues...."

"I have to giggle a bit. District 150 does have a boatload of problems. However, a certain award-winning District 150 baking student is on her way to medical school. Another award-winning culinary student is on her way to law school. Two more on their way to Sullivan Culinary School (arguably the best in the Midwest) and another (there are now three) to The Culinary Institute of America. Apparently D150 is good enough to get you where you want to go if you put some effort into it.
