@JnJ I read your link and don't believe the issue outlined there has anything to do with a 'system' and more with lack of financial literacy. If Obama tried to start a program teaching financial literacy he would be accused of trying to tell 'mericans what to do.

@JnJ Neighbors of some friends of mine in Peoria recently did go on food stamps when they both lost their jobs @CAT. They "spoke" for decades vehemently against the "free hand outs" with food stamps etc. Their "monologues" on the subject never ended. When things were going great @CAT they "upgraded" ,to put it mildly, into a new house. Mistake # 2 was doing it in D150. Just saying.

@leslie110 :Everything is rigged. Not enough people working to pay for too many people NOT working. Somewhere I saw an obit for a 30 year old kid who was killed in gang violence. He had SEVEN children. Do you think he was supporting them all? Go! Or how about people pouring over the border illegally who are getting better healthcare than our Veterans, plus housing, public education, foodstamps & bama phones? It doesn't end. Donald Trump - like him or not- is exactly right.

I also heard it was a fantastic buyer's market. Lately I'm seeing lots of permits in the windows of homes in my neighborhood....lots of homeowners finally have some cash for remodeling, replacing decks, pouring concrete. Good news for low paid laborers! We had a new roof put on this year and will be doing other repairs as well.
