@AverageJoe Which puts them in the boat of who i am talking about. Our Hispanic Brothers and Sisters who follow the rules are the Greatest People, The kids are the best. the fathers and mothers want better for them. Thats why they followed the rules . Its about like you and a high school drop out applying for the same job and both getting it in your field. Would you be cool with that?

I met an illegal guy working locally for a contractor recently. He was a YUGE Trump fan. I asked him why, when Trump called Hispanics rapists and murderers. He said he didn't care, Trump had huge balls.

I forgot another reason I am voting for him, he has recently made a TON of high profile "conservatives" to admit that many (if not most) in their field are lunatics fomenting racism, nationalism, etc that they didn't agree with, but stayed quiet to not cause a huge controversy. @Mahkno posted a link in this thread, I think.

The GOP is in shambles being forced to come to terms with their hypocrisy, and for that I thank the man. The right finally found it's "silent majority" and all of the sudden they don't like em.

I agree that the Right finally got what they were screaming for, their lunatic, fomenting racism, nationalism, etc, but that's a reason NOT to vote for him.... Unless you happen to be one who is looking for said lunatic.

no, I was using Shifty's words.

My view is a bit different than that. The GOP constituents and the GOP leadership has not been in sync. Not only that, but you have lots of "warring" splinters. Although there are a variety of democrats, you don't see nearly as much as in the republican party constituents. Conservatives v. Tea Party v. Moderate Repubs... Shifty said:

Thing is, TRUMP has done all those things, and it's a reason (IMO) *NOT* to vote for him. If he just exposed all those other high profile conservatives, then perhaps.

As far as the party as a whole, I think there are a lot of bigots, and a lot of non-bigots.

I'm not sure the GOP can survive. I think the ideology within the party is very divided. The two party system isn't working so well for those on the Right.

I won't vote for Trump, but I've always said I would never vote for H. Clinton. I'm at a loss and hoping for a miracle candidate to appear.

Exactly. No truer words spoken. While I'm not the biggest fan of Bernie, he is the lesser of three evils IMHO.

When the group of candidates is so bad it feels like they have taken away your right to vote...... I think "none of the above" may have a shot this year.

Given the current state, what do any of you consider a "good" candidate? Just curious. Frankly, I think 90% of all members of Congress should be given the boot and change the perks of those offices so we could choose who really want to be there for the good of the country, not just themselves. Same thing at state level.

@meanjarhead :

you had me right up to the atheist part, and I'd even be okay with an atheist as long as it's not an evangelical atheist, like one of the worms on this forum.

@AV8R I get scared when a person running for office goes to make a speech and his first words are God is Great. I don't care if you Act like Archie Bunker running as a moderate, Who's campaign slogan is Stop being a wussy. If you Start a speech with god is great i won't vote for you.
