Frankly I don't give a flip who believes me on this one, because it really did happen. After 9/11, my husband went out of the country for a particular reason and we knew our Peoria landline was being monitored. We would joke about it, and whenever he called me from Europe we'd say stuff like, "And hello Dude-Listening-In! Today we're talking about So-And-So, who lives at Such-And-Such address! You got that??"And that's just ONE instance. Stuff happened before that.And no, it's in no way more private with a cell phone. HAHA! A very trusted source has said, "No matter where you are in the United States having a phone conversation, there's someone within 10 miles listening in."I personally don't care what Snowden has to say. My husband and I have been harassed since the punk was in diapers.And yet here we are.

All I've got to say is this: Whoever is wasting their time monitoring all of QuispnQuake's Internet activity and phone conversations and such, is right now begging to be sent to Siberia to study the life cycle of glaciers off the coast. THAT'S how bored they are!!

And no, I'm not going to kick and scream cry and demand a safe space because we're being profiled because I'm tougher than that.And no, it's not bullying because NONE of my rights were suppressed, none of my freedoms were taken away because WE HAD NOTHING TO HIDE AND WE'RE DOING NOTHING ILLEGAL!Don't think for one second I agree with what was done/is being done to us! And YES! It HAS become a running joke with me! I refuse to live my life in anger! Why do you think I infuse humor into so many things???Am I supposed to live in complete bitterness?? The government has found NOTHING on us in over 2 decades. You have no idea how easy it is to live in the United States compared to other countries. What my husband and I have gone through has been an absolute cake walk compared to if we had lived outside the United States. I have nothing to hide, and I'm not going to live in bitterness. Let the humor fly! Let life go on! This stuff has been happening since the end of WWII. This is nothing new. Just more sophisticated.

My aunt, uncle and disabled cousin had their door broken down and spent several hours being questioned as the result of over eager Homeland Security. He's a Vietnam vet.

If I know I'm being monitored, I have a choice to not use that means to communicate. Really quite simple. So I really don't care if they listen to my phone. Or yours for that matter.
