I'll use my gas powered, 21 HP lawnmower to pick up the leaves then. That'll work out just fine.

Even California hasn't banned them. You've have to have a special model, but they aren't banned.

All my lawn equipment is electric or battery powered. All sorts of bills are submitted, only to die in committee. Like not being able to pump your own gas, I think this one will die.

@kraziebill : They're just trying to put illegals out of work! Most are landscapers and lawn service workers.

It will not pass, but it would be nice if my neighbor would not use hers while we are eating dinner on our porch. Also, those really loud ones from landscaping companies are annoying. My dog goes nuts. Could they work on something else besides this and having gas attendants?

Battery powered equipment keeps getting closer and closer to gas performance. I wonder how long until it's viable for pro landscaping?I have a gas blower, but our good-ole Ethanol ate the fuel lines about 10 years ago. I now just use plug-in electric blowers. Dealing with the problems of many little gas engines isn't my idea of fun.

Leaf blowers are for slackers.A real rake is better for your yard.
