The republican senate leadership has sent a notice to the White House to withdraw the nomination of Larry Puzder for Sec. of Labor There are four republicans who will vote NO and the difference can not be made by getting some democrats to switch their votes. In addition there are as many as 8 other republicans who could also vote NO. Interesting, he was one of the first to buy a house in DC in anticipation of being confirmed for the position. The arrogance of this cast of characters is beyond reprehensible.

Yet none of them can even hold a candle to Obozo in the arrogance department. They're neophytes on his scale.

Maybe Puzder can sell his new house to the guy who actually gets the position.

There is open war between the State Dept and the White House. Tillerson took the job as Sec. of State on the condition he could
have a say in the appointment of all ambassadorships including interviewing. Trump agreed to it all Now there is a faction in the White House who took some names directly to Trump and he nominated them. Tillerson found out after the fact. It is well known that the nominees will have confirmation troubles because of things like Swiss bank accounts, Cayman Island accounts and being fired from Goldman Sachs for sexual harassment etc, etc. Lew Eisemberg who was nominated for Ambasdador to Italy has an exceptionally checkered past.Don't know any of th details but the Director of Secret Service announced his retirement effective March 4. It was sudden and on short notice. Let's just see if Trump follows through and tries to appoint someone from his own personal or corporate security office that has no background in law enforcement. That could be a confirmation fight waiting to happen too.
