Paul Nolley

I finally got to meet Paul Nolley yesterday at a Democratic get-together at Jehan Gordon's office in Campustown. He's a lot younger than I thought, which, to me, is a good thing. My interview with him was the usual Democrat talking points of affordability that are hurting the people in the 16th District.
Lt. Governor/Senate Candidate Juliana Stratton was also there. In my interview with her, she stated that if elected, and the Democrats take the Senate, she will NOT support Chuck Schumer as Senate President. Voters have told her new leadership is needed. (Note, this story is not on the web yet. Stratton's was aired last night and this morning).

Most of the City of Peoria is in the 17th Congressional District and is represented by Eric Sorensen.

conrad : Fair enough. Some of us are on the eastside of the river and detest this stooge. Nolley for the win!

I imagine local central Illinois farmers are starting to feel the same way. Wake up and realize they'll be swooping in for your land.

Darin has been AWOL this term. He needs to relearn how to serve constituents. A Nolly win would be a good lesson for him.
