Its Time Has Come Surprised it took until 2026 to get it officially going.
The Inaugural Women's Professional Baseball League has started their season...with all teams playing not in Chicago, New York, or LA...but in Springfield! All games at Robin Roberts Stadium, home of the Lucky Horseshoes men's team. Boston is playing LA, and LA hitting a Grand slam in the first inning. It's on ESPN+. Watching it behind home plate are my wife, and our Springfield daughter's family. I'm at home, watching on TV, been up since 5:40 am for early work shift for video shooting at PPS 1st Day.
