The whole "peace deal" negotiations are going to be at a stalemate. apnews.com/article/i ran-vance-trump-nucl ear-negotiations-2ed f9268aae5508832 Iran is insisting that before any nuclear deal is negotiated, Israel must withdraw its troops from Lebanon. Even after signing the MOU, and sending Vance, Kushner, and Witkoff to the negotiation table, the hot-tempered WH guy again threatened Iran with bombings if Iran didn't "rein in" support of Hezbollah. Well, isn't that special? Just a few days after signing to end a war, he threatens to start it up again? Maybe Donny Boy needs to THREATEN his buddy Benji, tell him to take meds to stop his shaky trigger finger, or else US will pull back military support. I'm sure some of the military weaponry used by Israel came from US. Plus, Iran and the US should have included Israel and Hezbollah in these Swiss talks, because Iran is not going agree to anything unless Israel stops their attacks. But convincing DJT, his billionaire friends, and Benji's supporters to do that will be impossible. Our military weapons and guns are being made by someone in the US, and wouldn't doubt if it was contractors who has stuffed $$$ into politicians pockets on both sides of the aisle. In the meantime, Iran is probably restocking their missile and drone inventory just in case. My opinion and mine alone and not my employer's. #msg1949964

@DennisinPeoria :
The Iranian delegation to the talks was threatened by Trump too. Implying, they would not make it back to Iran.

@DennisinPeoria:
Indeed Iran is restocking its missiles and drones.At a fairly,fast rate too..Apparently, there were lots of them buried underground too. Now,some of them have been moved above ground, Did they escape detection by both Israel and US binrtelligence?

According to Iran, the straight of Hormuz is closed again as of yesterday due to attacks in Lebanon violating the agreement. A bunch of ships got through before that though.

Vance says that "we are making good progress" in the talks with Iran. That is just lip service. What exactly is "good progress"? Stop the LIES and deception!

A fact check on Benjamin Netanyahu's claims on Iran being "this" close on having a nuclear weapon:

I talked to someone today who is a Conservative, and he thinks the US was a "puppet" pulled into Benji's war, and we need to get out as quick as we can.

Another issue which is getting larger and larger and still larger is who will manage Iran's frozen assets when they are released. Iran believes they will have the final say. The US Treasury Secretary wants the US to have the final say. He says that US will use it to buy drugs, pharmaceuticals and other medical supplies for Iran.

In recent days, the Senate R, "requested,"more like DEMANDED a luncheon with Trump. He invited them to the White House. In turn, they DEMANDED that he come to them.So, he is going to the Hill today for the luncheon. Among the many items for discussion are the firings of Hegseth and Kash Patel. It seems that with screaming and yelling that will take place, you should be able to hear them all in Peoria.

Peace Deal negotiations? Strait of Hormuz fully open? War "officially" over?

I certainly don't think so.
apnews.com/article/i ran-us-israel-war-ho rmuz-strait-june-27- 2026-dca83ec0b7

As long as Iran and the US keep firing missiles or drones to attack Iranian facilities, US military bases, or Gulf allies, this war (And I'm calling it that) will not be over for quite awhile, despite the rhetoric coming from the White House.

Oil prices are down...for now. But I don't expect them to stay down very long. Especially if Iran wants to claim the entire strait for themselves, and restrict how ships pass through without tolls for now.

In the meantime, the Big WH guy is more worried about numbers of people attending his "Trump 250" celebration rallies, and fixing the Reflection pool that was mostly caused by his pool repair buddy from Florida, not leftist vandals. (Still no video proof released because his favorite lady staffer is probably creating AI videos of it)

My opinion, mine alone and not my employer's.

@DennisinPeoria : Good luck with that. Whether prices go back up is anyone's guess. The markets have already factored in the current risk, so that's where we're at right now. If the risks unexpectedly go up, the prices will adjust accordingly.

It all leads back to Kiev.... Ukraine, along with Belurus and Kazakhstan, were convinced/compelled to give up their nuclear weapons for what have amounted to false promises for protection and respect of sovereignty. EVERY nuclear aspiring country sees this... they also see North Korea with its nuclear weapons now better secured for them having such weapons. What is Tehran to think? Iran has been a target of European great powers for two centuries. Nuclear non-proliferation is a scam, when the powers promising security in exchange fail to deliver.

The United States and Europe's slow and inadequate level of support for Ukraine and Trumps aggression towards Iran, lays bare that the ONLY security for Iran is in the possession of nuclear arms.

Not only will Iran pursue nuclear arms... I would guess that many other nations have quietly accelerated their efforts to do the same. I would not be surprised at all if Ukraine had a clandestine program at this point. Ukraine certainly has the expertise.

If the world really wants to disarm Iran... then the world needs to knock Russia back onto its side of the border... and the U.S. needs to yank the leash hard on Israel. Non-proliferation cannot be a license for nuclear powers to be bullies to those who agreed to forgo them.
