@AverageJoe I took TnT's statement to mean if one does something good they do not talk about it, they just do it and feel good about having done so. I am working on a sign for my door!

They ignore the signs because they're trying to save your life. It's as if your house is burning down and they have the fire extinguisher. It makes no difference if you're sleeping, they are compelled to at least try and save you.You can tell them they're being rude 1000 different ways, it will not compute.

Just answer the door butt naked. They won't stick around. Trust me.

@tntrecycling: This was sort of a trick question on my part, been a while back while I was still in school but I stopped at BK on University. You were there.....you did not step up and do a good deed. The woman in question was me. I do agree, people do not do good deeds for gloating reasons. We do them cause they are right, and it's in our hearts to help people. I've been the giver and receiver many times.

Adnilem50 I have no clue on what your talking about. Every day people have needs or I try to help those that need things in there life's. Sorry that I didn't meet you or know what you were in need of.

So if I came at 9 am just to have a conversation that would be ok then.

No, if I don't know you never is a good time to knock on my door unless you are invited. My friends and family know good times to get ahold of me.

Adnilem50 So how would I or some one know this. Take it that you don't like people coming to your door would you not post a sign. There are always new witness every day some are new to the area. So many try to reach as many as possible. This is from God Jehovah not man.

SHE HAS A SIGN THAT SHOWS SHE DOESN'T WANT PEOPLE KNOCKING ON THE DOOR.THAT's how you would know she doesn't want someone to knock on her door.Not that hard....

I think, in this day and age, people don't want strangers knocking on their door at any time.

So then no more can I meet the people in my city hmmmmmmmmmmmmm why do I live there.
