Unnecessary road closures in Peoria, continued.

Still closed for no reason as of last week, that makes 14 weeks of being closed for no reason. This week they have some barrier going across. Also, a lot of deer live in the woods across the bridge. There are at least 20 in the picture.

How can you be sure that it is for "no reason"? Have you talked to IDOT or someone that knows?

@CCubs : Nope I haven't talked to any authority about it. Reasons like the insurance company that the construction company uses not allowing it to be open doesn't count. It's a government thing and they can change the laws if they need to. People drive over it. The construction workers used it. The semi trucks delivering rocks used it.

The first photo sure looks like they've excavated along the far side abutment and have it open, hence the barrels across the full roadway width.
