When things don't go your way....
You fire the person or blame others for it, but take credit if they go right .

"Erika McEntarfer, head of the BLS, a longtime government employee, bore the brunt of President Donald Trump's unhappiness with Friday's
jobs report, which showed that hiring had slowed in July and was much less in May and June that previously estimated. He accused her without evidence of manipulating the job numbers and noted she was an appointee of President Joe Biden."
Actually, she was nominated, not appointed. Big difference. "She was confirmed as BLS commissioner in January 2024 on a bipartisan 86-8 Senate vote. Among the Republican senators who voted to confirm her included then-Sen. JD Vance of Ohio, who is now Trump's vice president, and then-Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, who is now Trump's secretary of state."
Now , if Republicans were concerned about her having a political bias when it came to studying and researching raw data, why did they vote for her? According to article, even a BLS commissioner appointed by DJT in 2019 decried her firing, saying she was meticulous in analyzing data without injecting bias into it
Just another case where the President/King wants a loyalist in a non-partisan agency to keep the numbers looking good, even if they're not accurate. But I recall GOP critical of BLS numbers during Obama's term, but you didn't hear any calls for them to be fired.
My opinion and mine alone and not my employer's.
