Can sitting President pardon himself of any indictments or financial fines? That's the impression I'm getting with DJT and his attorneys constantly looking for ways to delay any trials, hearings, or payments of fines. The Constitution doesn't specify self-pardons, only granting pardons to others who have committed crimes against the U.S.
But I'm sure if DJT wins, he'll have an army of taxpayer-paid US attorneys find loopholes so he can, including bringing it before his Conservative buddies in the Supreme Court. (Fortunately, the SCOTUS hasn't been too favorable to some of his cases lately)
But what do the voters think?
If Biden was considering pardoning Hunter for anything , it'd be all over Conservative-leaning media because he has that power now.
