Squirrels digging hard

Walking around the yard this morning I'm seeing a lot of holes dug in my yard. I've also noticed that the few remaining plants I've got outside are also torn up as dirt is everywhere. Either I have the softest dirt in the neighborhood, or they're planning on a rough winter.

rough winter.

@AntiRanchDrssng : Thats what the word is. Leaves falling early. While we lack in rain, I don't see the wet but who knows.

Peanuts as a 'weed' was not on my checklist of things to deal with in my garden... until a neighbor started feeding squirrels peanuts.

Peanuts are buggers to pull... they have strong roots.
