xfinityassist.com Spam Text - Do not click

I just had a voicemail from Comcast telling me I am eligible for an equipment upgrade. I followed the instructions, which told me to go to xfinity.com/equipmentupdate. It was legit.

Minutes later I received a text with a link to xfinityconnect.com to "tap here to start the process"....the process I already completed.

Google confirmed this is spam and not a real Xfinity site/service. Beware.

Had a voicemail a couple of days ago amount a modem upgrade. Was wondering if it was legit or not but figured since we are moving, I would just wait n do it then.
