Remember The Titans?One of my favorite movies, because it shows that Blacks and Whites can come together, even during tense racial times. It showed that perceptions can change not only a football team, but a whole community. One movie scene has Julius walking across town to Gerry's house, in a white neighborhood; he tries to greet two ladies walking; they rush past him; a police car pulls up, but instead of confronting him, the white cop complements Julius and his team on the best defense he's seen in 20 years. Sadly, one of the players from that championship-winning team, Julius Campbell, passed away. He was 65. RIP with Gerry Bertier.
