Bradley Newman Center student masses are held at St. Mark's, one of Peoria's most beautiful churches. On any given Sunday you'll find students at regular mass too, which is always nice to see.

@PeoriaIllinoisan :

Georgetown Univ. Law School is across town near the Hill and not on the main campus. In the chapel there was a Mass on Sunday evenings that was also open to the public. Immediately after the election of an American Pope there was a huge surge in attendance at that Mass. So much so that the Mass was moved to a nearby church to accommodate the larger numbers. Much of the increased attendance was men.
Have heard from other priests, rabbis, ministers of other denominations in other parts of the country that they are experiencing the same thing. Again, men account for much of the increase. So something is going on.

PeoriaIllinoisan : Do you live in Bible times.

@tntrecycling : I've already explained what I believe, as have you. I'm not going down that rabbit hole.

Interesting while many go on daily taking no note in time. Today we see plenty of what is called critical times hard to deal with. While we see it daily do you see the writing on the wall. (Luke 17:25-30) 25 First, however, he must undergo many sufferings and be rejected by this generation. 26 Moreover, just as it occurred in the days of Noah, so it will be in the days of the Son of man: 27 they were eating, they were drinking, men were marrying, women were being given in marriage until that day when Noah entered into the ark, and the Flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise, just as it occurred in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building. 29 But on the day that Lot went out of Sodʹom, it rained fire and sulfur from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 It will be the same on that day when the Son of man is revealed.
Today ones who do evil things same as Noah`s day destroying Gods earth people who has the power to make ones do these things.
(2 Timothy 3:1-7) 3 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having an appearance of godliness but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 From among these arise men who slyly work their way into households and captivate weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.
Truth found in today's world. Where do you go find it rely on what man says or what is written in the Bible. Time has come to identify oneself whom they choose to walk with.

I remember being about 12 or 13, maybe younger, and my mom talking to someone on the phone about the Book of Revelations. Apparently she had just read it, and sounded scared as far as....how soon the events would unfold to the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ.
That was over 50 years ago, and she unfortunately joined the Kingdom Triumphant (as our Pastor calls it) in 1992.
I really don't think anyone can accurately predict when those events outlined in Revelations will happen.

Still did not answer what you pastor makes. @PeoriaIllinoisan : like I have said take his pay and see if he still shows up. Understanding what you do for God Jehovah is given not taken.
Just locally every Kingdom Hall elders ministerial servants and the publishers who teach never receive payments or a check. Let see how long it will last, we been doing it for years and still growing.
