Poll: Should trans women be allowed to compete in women's sports

I don't think it's black and white. Some things it doesn't really matter. I'd leave it up to the leagues. I don't want to see an all/nothing blanket rule.Adding: if a trans woman was in the locker room with me, I wouldn't care. I know this happened with me back in 1990(ish). No bigs. I bet it has happened quite a few times since but just didn't know.

Outright banning them could open a big can of worms. Next would be girls playing 'boys' sports. I love seeing a high school or college girl on the gridiron butting heads with the boys. I have to agree with Sue. Leave it to the leagues, confrences, etc.

Basketball, golf, softball, soccer, tennis, volleyball. Take your pick. Of course the WNBA has been all over the news, and rightfully so, but I don't see much difference between these other sports.

This is what happens when you speak out against biological men competing in women's basketball. I watched it live on ABC today.

I'm sorry, but I don't agree with men transgendered into women playing women's sports. I also don't agree with women transgendered into men playing men's sports. No matter how much they can physically build up their muscles and physique, I don't think many can compete on the playing field. That's not to say some transgendered can't compete, some can.
But if they really want to play sports that bad, they should compete as the gender they were born with.
I realize not everyone will agree with this, and that ok. But it's my opinion only, as usual.

Can a woman handle a man's job, and can a man handle a woman's?

It is a shame that other players become dirty and cause harm. Sholder pads and helmet should not be required.

It is an unsolved problem that is not unsolvable... why not rise to the occasion and solve it instead of telling people no you cannot do this.The solution to progressive changes is not to regress it.

They probably also believe that women aren't emotionally equipped to hold office.

@PeoriaIllinoisan : I think there is a tacit acceptance and even encouragement of a rougher game in the WNBA.... because it draws interest. Look at all the buzz around fouls in the WNBA.... that is what people are talking about.
