Proposal for 1st wind farm being debated by those for and against in front of the Zoning Board of Appeals. Because of number of witnesses and public commenters, this could go on for 2 weeks. Four Creeks proposed a wind farm near Princeville. More later on WMBD News.

The article last week claimed the project would cost 25 thousand acres instead of spanning said area.

Good point. This is from the land use permit application for the Four Winds project and shows that the actual included land request is over 40,000 acres. It also impacts what I would consider a significant number of species - both flora and fauna - that are endangered or threatened.
