NFL
Since it was mentioned in another thread and I'm tired politics (and would love to see both Hillary and Donald being chased around by "in their prime" '76 Steel Curtain and the '85 Bears D-line), what about football?
I'm excited for the AZ Cardinals this year. Started following them when Kurt Warner got traded to them (still think the Rams were a-holios for trading him...look what happens, you dimwits, when you let the guy's hand heal, he goes and breaks his own records he set while playing for YOUR team...). Mathieu will be back at linebacker, Chris Johnson had a great comeback year and David Johnson appeared from nowhere as a rookie workhorse at RB. They got help at D-line by getting the Patriots top pass rusher. Unfortunately, they let Dwight Freeny (at 36 years old but led the team in sacks last year) go into free agency; he is still available. DO IT!!! Fitzgerald is back at WR with a trio of young, capable speesters that should give defenses fits. They still need help at right guard, though and hope if they get to the playoffs that Carson Palmer plays better than last year's playoff. He looked so bad I think he was paid to throw games. This team easily wins the NFC West.
OK, I'm not a "jump on the bandwagon" guy. When I first started really watching football, I was a LA Rams fan because I loved watching Eric Dickerson run. He still holds the single season rushing record set 32 years ago. Even though he got traded to Indy, I still was a Rams fan, through the move to St. Louis and some really bad years. Then the "Greatest Show on Turf" happened. When the St. Louis Idiots (Rams management) traded Warner, I said "enough". I was a man without a team. About two years go by and Warner was traded to Arizona and took over for the bumbling Matt Leinart. Been a AZ Cardinals fan since.
