Anyone go to Lucy Davis Thrift Store on Farmington Rd? It's really more of a flea market than a thrift store.
When they first opened a few months ago, it was literally garbage for sale. The last couple of months it seems to be growing, and there is some pretty decent stuff. Lots of home-made, crafters, etc. are coming in as well.
I've been there twice in the last 2 weeks and it's doubled in size. It's about time somebody did this in Ptown!

The wife and I were in there a week or so ago and it really surprised me at how clean it was, FAR better then I expected. I commend the owners on that, plus it's well lit a refreshing change for what shops like this usually are.
I agree @Shifty, it may not be perfect but it's a start of somebody trying to do something the proper way.

I made it to the parking lot once. It took me a bit to find it. Couldn't see where to enter. Will have to try again. My attempt was some time ago.

I have not been there. I have heard people speak quite favorably about it. They found some things they were looking for and a few things they weren't.

@Ramble On The door is kind of hidden, just go up the stairs on the front right corner of the building. My Mom says it has greatly improved since first opening.

My daughter and I went Mother's Day Week-end. I agree it is more of a Flea Market type place than a actual Thrift Store. Some vendors had great prices some were extremely over priced. We spoke with the individuals that are running it and found out that they rent out the space for $200 a month or do 50/50 Consignment on some stuff. Very clean place, very friendly - we will definatly be going back!
