Not good. France confirms oil crisis, says 30-40 percent of Gulf energy infrastructure destroyed www.france24.com/en/ france-confirms-oil- crisis-says-30-40-gu lf-energy-infra France's Finance Minister Roland Lescure revealed on Wednesday that between 30 and 40 per cent of Gulf refining capacity has been damaged or destroyed by Iran's retaliatory strikes, leaving a shortage of 11 million barrels a day on global oil markets. Lescure warned it could take up to three years to restore damaged facilities, and several months to restart those that were urgently shut down. Meanwhile, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has travelled to Algeria for emergency energy talks, seeking to secure increased gas deliveries to Italy as the country scrambles to replace lost LNG supplies from Qatar. With fossil fuel supplies under severe strain, both the UK and Germany signalled on Wednesday that the energy crisis is accelerating their green transitions. This comes as European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde assured the continent that the ECB has several options for dealing with the inflation shock triggered by the US-Israeli war on Iran, and vowed that policymakers would not be "paralysed by hesitation".

@mypeez :
France 24 is an outstanding news source, They are also able to get many people in the US to be interviewed that won't do interviews by US media.

How would you feel if someone came into your country and started attacking? I hope those who are killed receive justice from those responsible for making the bombs and the senders. All hale Trump.

@mypeez :
France 24 comes through again. Paris police foiled a bombing of a Bank of America branch in Paris early this morning. Certainly sounds like extraordinary police intelligence. When someone arrived around 3am to plant the bomb, police arrested a man who is now in custody and intercepted the bomb.

Iran drone (and missile "?") attack on Saudi Air Base

Over a dozen U.S. soldiers injured in attack on Saudi base as Iran-backed Houthis enter war

At least 15 U.S. service members were wounded Friday in an Iranian strike on a Saudi air base that hosts American troops, according to the Associated Press, including at least five in serious condition. The missile and drone strikes targeted Saudi Arabia's Prince Sultan Air base, located outside the capital Riyadh.

A U.S. official, who was not authorized to speak publicly, told NPR that some aircraft were apparently damaged as well.

Iran released Chinese satellite photos of what they say are burning aircraft at the base. It said one of the tankers, which refuel fighter jets in the air, was destroyed and three others damaged.

Iran has targeted U.S. service members at bases throughout the region since the war began a month ago, in retaliation for the U.S. attacks and seeking to drive troops out of the region. Overall, the Pentagon has put the U.S. casualty toll at 13 killed and more than 300 injured.

The head of the Iranian parliament was someone that Trump said he could most likely trust to be US friendly. Like a fool, he publicly announced it and probably told Netanyahu about him.
Yesterday, Israel announced bombings of Iranian regime targets.
Today, Israel announced they killed him in yesterday's bombing. No other confirmations of this yet.
So, it is obvious that this war will not be over until Netanyahu says it is over, which will probably be never. Trump is obviously beholden to Netanyahu because of another reason. Just saying.
Now, today there are reports that have Trump saying he will negotiate with the Iranian parliament leader.

White House Signals Willingness to End Iran War Without Reopening Strait of Hormuz
time.com/article/202 6/03/30/white-house- signals-trump-doesn- t-require-strai

Ensuring safe passage for oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz is not one of the "core objectives" President Donald Trump has set for ending his military operation against Iran, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters on Monday, potentially setting the stage for Iran to continue to flex its strategic position over one of the world's busiest oil shipping channels for the foreseeable future.

Leavitt was asked at a White House press briefing on Monday whether Trump was willing to declare victory in Iran and end the war even if Iran continued to block most vessels from passing through the strait. Leavitt said the U.S. and Israel began their military strikes in late February to destroy Iran's navy, dismantle its missile and drone infrastructure, weaken its proxies in the region and prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

"The full reopening of the Strait is something the Administration is working towards, but the core objectives of the operation have been clearly defined for the American people by the Commander in Chief," Leavitt said.

Despite the sinking of its navy and daily bombardments from U.S. warplanes, Iran's military has still managed to menace merchant ships moving through the crucial waterway, cutting off oil shipments and driving up the price of crude oil on the global market. Iran allowed some ships to pass through the chokepoint in late March, after intense diplomacy from the U.S.

The prospect of Iran continuing to exert greater control over the narrow Strait could make it one of the lasting legacies of the conflict.

Its TACO Tuesday!

It is all entirely on brand... Trump is famous for leaving others as the bag holders for his calamitous business decisions. It is why most banks stopped lending to him and forced him to turn to Russia for funding.... for which he is still indebted to.

Perhaps the more interesting news this week... is that Ukraine has stepped out as an arms exporter. The war must be going a lot better for Ukraine, for it to have the capacity... even surplus, to be able to export its drone weaponry.

We really have not seen Iran deploy its drones in force yet. Iran has been building thousands of them for Russia for years now. It's tech has matured... not as good as Ukraine's but probably better than we expect. I feel like there could be a pearl harbor moment lurking...

What do I mean by pearl harbor.... Trump keeps amassing ships and troops to the middle east. Most of them are still on ships... amphibious combat ships. We keep gathering them into a concentrated area focused on Hormuz. And at just the right time... the drones are unleashed.

Ukraine has shown that you can destroy a navy without having one of your own...
