Honesty is not always the best policy.

On Jan. 11 at 9:54 p.m., a non-Bradley-affiliated individual reported an argument with her boyfriend.
She reportedly voluntarily told police she had a warrant out for her arrest. BUPD subsequently was required to take her into custody at the Peoria County Jail, where she answered several medical questions.
Her blood pressure was found to be concerningly high 30 minutes prior to her arrest, a possible result of methamphetamine and fentanyl use. She was transported to Methodist Hospital, and after some observation, was cleared and transported to Peoria County Jail.
And the boyfriend lived happily ever after.
