You don't get it. There is NOTHING cheaper. At $17/hr there is ONE place looking for a roommate and it's 2/3 the cost of what is considered expected low-cost room. I've seen advertisements for $650 for a HALLWAY spot. This place is $650 for a room. Everything else is $800-1000 for rooms that are not upscale. It goes up to about $1800 for a shared apartment at an upscale place. How much lower can he go?.under the local bridge. That's it.

What's your choice? Today I only made $20 after working all day driving around, with no hourly wage paid. Tomorrow, if it comes, I could make a different amount. What you consider good wages really depends on your lifestyle.
Just to get buy for some while others bask in wealth. In the 80`s as an autobody man $18 an hour was what I made offered $25 for first shift.
Do you feel $15 is not enough?

Cleaning a toilet takes the same effort, yet some are willing to do it for less while others expect more.
Yet cost of everything is going up well you think them who want more could be the problem. Going to the market and buying everyday if they change prices for who comes up, is that fair. Usually, the better gets the higher price.

Being a good person is an outstanding quality. When Jehovah backs your maybe you should read in the Bible about the support he gives. We don't rely on ourselves.
