Apparently cleaning the cap with acetone nail polish remover is supposed to help.

Did you take the orange part off and make sure its clear on both sides of the horse shoe looking part.

Yes, I have googled it..lol...I have 18 first graders and 9 bottles of glue..only 1 still works...took the lids apart..cleaned them..cleaned the thing that the lid snaps too...filled them..and they still don't work..you squeeze and squeeze...and nothing..so hard to do art..lol

@craftywoman With them apart blow through them. Sound like they are clogged right as glue goes in from bottom of lid.

I haven't touched a bottle of the stuff in years, but I remember staying in from recess often meant cleaning the bottles... Removed the cap, separating the orange "twist" cap from the rest of the white cap, taking a small screwdriver and peeling out the dried stuff, then poking the dried stuff through the top out the threaded end of the cap.

Yep, just go find a few jars of this!
