In other related news, I saw a PJ Star newspaper delivery truck delivering papers at 6:15 this morning. Back in the day, I was DONE delivering my 70+ papers, was in the shower and getting ready for school at 6:15.

Kevin. When I was 14, I was sitting in my living roomm the night before Thanksgiving when the PJS delivery stuck dropped bundles in front of y house. It was 10:30 p.m. There was not ONE piece of news in that paper than was not at least 12 hours old before people read in in the morning.

True, Billy, but besides the radio and three television stations, there wasn't any other way to get news so it SEEMED new. That, and the original content then was far better than what there is now.

12 hours was current news in the seventies.
