Frank Beard dies

Frank Beard, the only guy in ZZ TOP without a beard, has died. He was their longtime drummer. This just leave Billy Gibbons as the only remaining original member of the Texas trio.

I've always loved their style of Southern/Boogie/Blues Texas rock, even their early hits like La Grange and Tush. But it was 1983's "Eliminator" album that put them on top with singles like "Give Me All Your Lovin" (which was also used in "The Santa Clause" movie), Legs, Sharp Dressed Man, TV Dinners. Other hits I like are Cheap Sunglasses, Pearl Necklace, Got Me Under Pressure, and Doubleback (from Back To The Future Pt 3 where they also had a cameo as a band in the Old West)

Bassist Vocalist Dusty Hill passed in 2021, was replaced by Guitar Tech Elwood Francis. With ZZ Top really famous for their Live shows, I'm sure they'll get another drummer and continue on. RIP Frank Beard.

@DennisinPeoria :
I read that Michael Monahan, the guy who filled in for Frank when he had foot surgery, will be the new drummer.
