Nothing surprises me anymore. This is one of those many things that you have to google to see if it's true. Sadly it is.

Nothing to see here, move along. Kash Patel ordered polygraphs of more than two dozen members of his team, sources say

FBI Director Kash Patel ordered the polygraphing of more than two dozen former and current members of his security detail, as well as other staff, and has been described as being in panic mode to save his job and find leakers among his team, according to two people briefed on the development. Patel walled himself off from some senior bureau leaders this week after multiple media reports raised red flags about his leadership, according to three people familiar with his recent actions. Two of the people told MS NOW that the director ordered the polygraphing this week of former and current security detail members, as well as several information technology staff. The director has also avoided meeting this week with some key operational leaders of the bureau, the people said, raising concerns inside the FBI about Patel's ability to stay abreast of pressing threats and investigations in order to make the best decisions. FBI spokesman Ben Williamson declined to comment on whether Patel ordered polygraphs. He disputed claims that the director was walled off from his senior staff, saying Patel has regularly met with operational leaders, including his two deputy directors, assistant directors and an intelligence briefing team. ...

Kash Patel Faces New Backlash as FBI Agents Reportedly Balk At Orders to Investigate Atlantic Reporter
www.yahoo.com/news/a rticles/kash-patel-f aces-backlash-fbi-16 0104797.html

Some FBI agents are allegedly resisting orders to identify individuals who leaked unflattering details about their bosses, according to a new report from Independent. MS Now reported that agents within the bureau have been directed to launch a criminal investigation targeting both a leaker and the journalist behind a scathing Atlantic exposé on FBI. Director Kash Patel. Two anonymous sources told the network that agents tasked with the probe have voiced serious reservations, viewing it as government retaliation rather than legitimate law enforcement. "They know they are not supposed to do this," one source told the outlet. "But if they don't go forward, they could lose their jobs. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't." The investigation appears to stem from Atlantic reporter Sarah Fitzpatrick's article, which cited roughly two dozen anonymous sources and detailed troubling allegations against Patel, 46, including claims of misusing bureau aircraft for personal travel - such as flying to see his girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins, 27, in concert - and allegations that excessive drinking left him unreachable by staff.
