People have been so generous! This allows us to add things we normally don't have. Been buying sugar and breaking it down into 2 pound zip lock type bags. Also making sure we have laundry detergent and general household cleaner for those who ask. Plan to buy some butter as people continue to ask and we have not had any. Thanks, PDC'ers! @Joe : Absolutely amazing! Purchased 36 cans of peas and 6 12-packs of Ramen Noodles last night. Heading down to Carter Paper pretty soon to buy more paper grocery sacks to fill. Had enough cereal for this week, but will buying some for next week. I sure hope you can count this as a business expense!

@CCubs : Thank you. I really am passionate about the East Bluff. I live less than two blocks from the pantry location and keeping it going has become what seems like my purpose. One of the loyal volunteers went with me this morning to pick up our order at Peoria Area Food Bank. Another volunteer met us at the center to help unload, put things away, break down bags of sugar into two pound bags, then they finished packing bags for Saturday. The pantry is not something I do by myself, nor could I!

@RambleOn : Thanks for all you do, and members don't forget all the running around Willa does picking things up in her own vehicle. You are helping by giving her credits to buy things, but you can also send her a token of appreciation buy sending donation to the pantry in care of her. She has gas to buy and a vehicle to maintain also. Her heart is in the right place
