I shouldn't but I will... I've seen him 20 times or more, he dresses to the nines, his band is top notch, his voice is leaving (not getting into that argument) - has arthritis and sits behind a keyboard now, sometimes a grand piano, although I read he pulled out a guitar live not long ago.
Don't expect a greatest hits show, he does whatever and plays whatever he wants, not even sure he puts together a playlist, but the band is supposed to know every single one of his 300+ songs.
He pulled this out of his hat just two weeks ago and as far as I'm concerned sounded as good as I've heard him in years.
@pictureme1 : D.C. There is a website for his tour schedule. He has a number of dates in college towns in the Midwest. He is also about a week at the Beacon Theater in NYC in November. That was a viable option for us but would have required juggling a few other things. By the time we did we were afraid it might be sold out so we settled for December 8 which is almost sold out. Plus it is at The Anthem which is an outstanding venue at The Wharf and newly redeveloped Waterfront.
