Best Hole on Every Peoria Area Golf Course - according to me. (in no particular order)
Kellogg - #8 (formerly 17) - par five, creek on the right second shot shoots over the lake.
Kellogg Exec - #7 - par four, tee shot over a lake, OB left, strand of trees right.
Newman - #13 - par four, narrows down, woods to the right, drop off to the left and severely sloped back to front green.
Madison - #3 - par four, fairly straight forward, but I love it with woods to the left and deep.
Pine Lakes - #10 - no brainer, narrow par four with trouble everywhere to a narrow elevated green. One of the toughest holes around, imo.
Quail Meadows - #8 - par four, open tee shot with a second to an extremely skinny elevated green with a creek in front.
Fondulac - #3 - only because of the Peoria skyline view from the tee box.
Lick Creek - #'s 5, 6, 7 - best three hole stretch around, with #6 being the star.
Weaver - #4 (I think, been a while) - par four with a big dogleg left around a lake.
Coyote Creek - #2 (or is it 3?, again been a while) - par four down in a valley. Not sure why that one stands out to me, but that's always the first thing that comes to mind when I think of that course.
Kaufman Park, Eureka - #6 of course, the birdhouse hole. Pain in the ***.
I know I'm missing some, never played Mt Hawley or Metamora Fields, been too long since the Country Club or Arrowhead, but I'll give a shout-out to Gibson Woods in Monmouth and just say, all of them.
