billybob : Saw on Google News last night that Washington Post reported 22 deaths. Surprised that the WP was not among the banned.

Bezos, owner of the Washington Post, plays up to Trump. Trump returns the favor by inviting him to state dinners.He will indeed be in attendance at the state dinner for Xi this week. It is rarely announced in advance who will be attending state dinners until then dinner starts. An exception was made this week for Bezos and a few others.

Over the last few days a number of major and mega GOP donors have told Trump and others that they will not donate another cent to the midterm campaigns. They collectively believe that too many races are too far behind for anything to help them. Trumps recent remarks about AI was the straw that broke the camels back.

Unfortunately anything can happen between now and the election to make those numbers closer, especially if the GOP in conjunction with the White House suddenly put out fear mongering against the Democratic candidates. Let's hope not.

DennisinPeoria : Things have totally gone off the rails in recent days.
Melania has come out in total disagreement with what her husband did to some of the White House press corps. Also,Fox News is wildly against it. They live in fear that if it is allowed to happen a Democratic president could ban them from the White House. The shooting by the ICE agent in Austin, Texas, who did not have his body cam on,has probably put Texas out of reach in several races in Texas. More and more Republican candidates are running away from Trump. Then fears is oil will be between $100.00 and $150.00 per gallon inn a few weeks. Those kind of attacks work well when races are close.

Well, if the FLOTUS disagrees with her husband the POTUS, he certainly can't fire her from her job. Will we see a TS post in the middle of the night insulting her, calling her a loser or other name? While Fox has a legitimate fear, I doubt a Democrat POTUS would ban them. Obama has even remarked during his terms that if he just watched Fox News, he'd wonder about his job performance too.
But he never banned them. But according to Google search:

Ossoff is getting huge crowds. Opening up a large lead. Talked about CORRUPTION. He just might turn out to be a HUGE force in 2028. The previous two times the Rs got into major election loses democratic candidates came from the south and won as new faces.
Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter. History could repeat itself again.
