If the rhetoric coming out of Washington D. C. continues as it is, does the USA get labeled as a "terrorist nation"? Arrest and detain a foreign leader. participate in the death of another, then demand to have a say in who their next leader will be and now the threat of taking over Cuba the easy way or the hard way. That doesn't even include Canada becoming the 51st state or taking control of Greenland. This current government is obscene!

@Mahkno :
And yet the same Right wingers, MAGAs, and Conservatives won't say a word about Russia, and instead deflect to when Obama sent pallets of cash to Iran, who MAGAs say was used to upgrade their uranium enrichment technology, and build a nuclear weapon. Except that money was not US taxpayer money. It was oil sales assets from South Korea that were frozen because of sanctions. Once Iran agreed to a deal, those sanctions were lifted, and the cash that was rightfully Iran's was sent.

But don't try to tell those facts to a MAGA.

We are living in an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! Trump has no business whatsoever running the country. He belongs behind bars. This tragedy is worse than the average American realizes. Trump has committed a multitude of crimes. When it is obviously too late, history will show just what an evil dictator Trump really was/is.

We will be hearing that the attack on the school that killed the Iranian school girls was not only based on outdated intelligence but severely outdated intelligence.

@skutfarcus :
At this time there is no reason to suspect it but hopefully it was not outdated Israeli intelligence, Netanyahu badly, badly wanted Trump to get involved in this excursion for quite some time,

Keep Iran and the U.S. busy so that Israel can focus on Lebanon and Hezbollah.

Global oil hovers around $100 despite US temporarily lifting sanctions on Russian oil stranded at sea

Global oil prices traded around the $100-a-barrel level Friday, shrugging off the Trump administration's earlier decision to temporarily allow the delivery and sale of sanctioned seaborne Russian crude - a waiver aimed at mitigating a surge in prices following its attacks on Iran.

The license, posted to the US Treasury website, applies only to Russian crude and petroleum products loaded on vessels as of March 12 and authorizes those shipments through April 11.

"To increase the global reach of existing supply, @USTreasury is providing a temporary authorization to permit countries to purchase Russian oil currently stranded at sea," Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent wrote on social media. "This narrowly tailored, short-term measure applies only to oil already in transit and will not provide significant financial benefit to the Russian government, which derives the majority of its energy revenue from taxes assessed at the point of extraction."

Apparently, so it seems, that the US and, possibly, Israel totally, totally underestimated the number of surface to surface missiles Iran has. It is the kind that Iran has used to fire on the Strait of Hormuz. They seem to be hidden everywhere.

@billybob : This is concerning. Don't they have their own production capacity for some of these weapon types?
