Does anyone think that he might also get DOJ lawyers to start preparing briefs to present to his SCOTUS friends, arguing that the 22nd Amendment should be ruled unconstitutional? And if they do rule in his favor, he could run again in 2028, no matter his physical or mental health at that time.
He won't try to get his GOP Congress to draft, debate, pass an Amendment to repeal the 22nd. Because then you'd need 3/4 of the State Legislatures to ratify it, which could take longer. Or the repeal wouldn't take effect until after the 2028 election.
After all, when he addressed an Christian Evangelicals conference during the campaign, he said to vote this time, because they'd never have to vote again. Hmm, hidden meaning there?
